Celebrate the Music & Magic of Neil Diamond
This four-day music & film festival will be held at the Suncoast Hotel-Casino-Spa in Las Vegas April 21-24,
Nearly a dozen tribute artists will be showcased at the festival, which will include four unique concerts that feature the timeless songbook of the American music icon, including a retrospective of Mr. Diamond’s deep album cuts and cover songs.
Other highlights include a sneak preview of “Diamond Mountain”, the eagerly awaited musical documentary produced and directed by Steve Tatone of Midnight Pass Entertainment. The movie profiles the lives and times of 13 dedicated troubadours who pay homage to Diamond’s music while navigating the peaks and valleys of the highly competitive live music industry.
Taking 18 months to film Diamond artists hailing from the UK, Canada, Australia, South America and all across America, Tatone’s new film reveals, up close and personal, the trials and tribulations of a diverse group of performers doing everything they can to “survive the life” and climb their own individual Diamond Mountain.
“Neil Diamond’s words and music saved me in my teens,” says Tatone. “so I’m grateful to be able to tell the story of these 13 incredibly entertaining, hard-working singers and musicians who chase their dreams performing his songs night after night on stages large and small all over the world. It’s just incredible how far Mr. Diamond’s music reaches.”
A portion of the proceeds will benefit “Our Military Kids”.
